Advanced Applied Clinical Nutrition Certification Program
(AACN 100 Hour Advanced Certification)

The Advanced Applied Clinical Nutrition (A.A.C.N.)   Program is intended for the clinician who has completed the Applied Clinical Nutrition (A.C.N.) Program and who wishes to develop personal and professional skills in holistic nutritional strategies and apply them in practice. While the ACN program offers an education in whole food nutrition and herbal medicine, the AACN Program emphasizes the advanced application of that knowledge. The AACN Program is a one of a kind opportunity for in-depth study with some of the best clinicians in the country in how to use whole food nutrition and natural therapies in your practice. Classes will be smaller in size allowing for more "hands on" training, which translates into less lecturing and more practitioner participation.  With a more intimate setting, clinicians enrolled in the AACN program can expect to build community with one another, lessening the sense of isolation that can occur for a busy clinician.

The AACN Program is rigorously designed and continuously refined by our outstanding core faculty, each of whom brings diverse and subject-specific clinical expertise to the application of applied clinical nutrition. The core faculty will present intensive courses comprised of client interviews, research reports, and case studies. Practitioners are trained to address the biochemical uniqueness of their clients and to develop custom nutritional and botanical protocols, including diet and lifestyle modifications. Participants learn to utilize specialized testing to address the individual’s needs, from supporting wellness to treating chronic, complex medical problems. The AACN Program is patient-centered educational program and each topic in the program introduces compelling research and provides metabolic assessment tools that enable practitioners to confidently and precisely guide clients on the journey to health and wellness.
